He was born in a poor Dehua village. He had nothing except passion. He ever made a living by selling porcelain products as a vendor. Unluckily, his porcelain products were deemed as counterfeits. Then he was in debt. The painful experiences, however, inspired his potentials and courage to create a brand name of his own.

But it was not an easy job. Nobody has been successful ever since Soon Dynasty. He read piles of books concerning porcelain before he made a breakthrough in 1996, 5 years after his graduation from Senior High School. He was filled with complicated feelings: Am I to succeed? When? How? Am I able to pay back the debt? He persisted though. No reason to give up, he thought, I am on the way to success. Every time he recalled this, he was very thankful to his wife, who gave him timely support when he was in trouble.

The 5th day of the 1st month of the lunar year was a special day in Xu's life. He made it! When he went out of the room, auspicious rays of sunlight were shining. 'Fu Gui Hong' (Literally, it means richness, rank and red) was thus used to name the porcelain. It is 'Fu Gui Hong' that fills in the gap in the fields of international porcelain history. His life turned over a new leaf.
